CHINESE DOCTOR DISCOVERED CORONAVIRUS
According to a report on godtv, Dr. Li Wen Liang was the doctor who first discovered the deadly novel coronavirus. The report also suggests that the Chinese doctor may have been a Christian. He was arrested last December and imprisoned for 'being a whistleblower' and 'spreading rumours' about a mysterious pneumonia-like virus. When the virus did break out, Dr. Li Wen took care of patients even though he risked being infected by the coronavirus himself. The doctor has recently passed away leaving behind his wife and child.

WHERE EVANGELICALS LIVE
Christianheadlines reports that a new study has concluded that most evangelical Christians do not live in North America or Europe. According to French researcher Sebastian Fath, most actually reside across Latin America, Asia, and Africa. Of the roughly 660 million evangelicals in the world, about 215 million are thought to live in Asia, while 66 million are based in China, 28 million in India, 16 million in Indonesia, 13 million in the Philippines and 9 million in South Korea. It is estimated that around 123 million live in South America, mostly across Brazil, Argentina and Guatemala.  There are approximately 93 million evangelicals  in the United States, ten million in Mexico and 4 million in Canada. Europe is host to just 23 million.

ACTOR DEFENDS CHRISTIANITY
In an interview with The Christian Post, actor John Rhys-Davies said: "I count myself a rationalist and a skeptic, and I find myself constantly defending Christians and Christianity. I find that wonderful because we seem to forget that Christian civilisation has made the world a better place than it ever was. One of the great glories was the abolition of slavery, for instance.”
