TENNIS PLAYER PRAYS TO GOD
The latest 15yearold tennis sensation prays for her opponents before every match. Cori Gauff, nicknamed ‘Coco,’ advanced to the fourth round of Wimbledon after entering the tournament as a wild card ranked 303 in the world. Coco says her father taught her to pray about her games when she was eight years old. She told Christian Headlines the prayers are not part of a strategy for success. She says rather they are an expression of thanks to God and of dependence on Him.

A TAPESTRY OF LIGHT
Science, faith, art are brought together in the new Tapestry Of Light exhibition at the Museum of the Bible. Australian artist Irene Barberis has been working on the exhibit for two decades. It shows the visions of the Book of Revelation through massive tapestries stretching three metres tall and 30 metres long. According to CBN Christian World News, the artist says 'it doesn’t look at the end times and the devastation of the apocalypse. It looks at the light that illuminates the darkness. The Book of Revelation clearly shows, in the end, there'll be a bright new Heaven and a new Earth.'

LIVING JUSTICE CONFERENCE
Sight Magazine reports that more than 250 people attended the Living Justice Conference earlier this month in Sydney. The conference was sponsored by Micah Australia and The Justice Conference. Christine Caine was the keynote speaker. Her husband Nick is CEO of A21, a human trafficking abolition organisation. Rev Tim Costello, executive director of Micah Australia, says the Caines were invited to lead the conference because their hearts are very much Micah’s heart as they exhibit it in the work of A21. The Caines launched A21 seven years ago with the aim of abolishing slavery ‘everywhere, forever’. They now have offices in 23 countries. The conference was framed around the two commandments that Jesus joined together as the greatest: to love God with all our hearts and minds and to love our neighbours as ourselves.
