CLERGY ABDUCTIONS

Emmanuel Haruna of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) was kidnapped at gunpoint outside his home on church premises. Gunmen also reportedly abducted the Rev. John Bako Shekwolo, priest of the St. Theresa Catholic Church , according to an archdiocese statement.

MISSING ARTWORK
The world’s most expensive painting, a centuries old image of Jesus known as the “Salvator Mundi” attributed to legendary Italian artist Leonardo Da Vinci, has disappeared in Abu Dhabi. The painting, which was purchased for $450 million in 2017 by Saudi prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Farhan al-Saud, is now missing, The New York Times reports.

INTELLIGENT DESIGN
As reported by Faithwire.com, geophysicist Stephen C. Meyer, who is not a Christian, has stated that, after years of scientific study, he has come to the conclusion that there simply must be an intelligent designer behind our creation. He declared: "Intelligent design is telling us that life and the universe were designed—that's also something you would find affirmed in the theistic religious traditions. There are overlapping areas of interest, and increasingly, what we've found is that there is increasing agreement as we've understood the science better."
